In Monterosi two little semidetached houses have come out of renovation, which was performed by a daughter who has studied architecture. She has completely succeeded in this and has fitted out the houses with a lot of taste. Each house has an upper floor of a good 90 sq m and 6 sleeping places; so they are also very suitable for 2 families who want to go on holiday together (max 12 sleeping places). Shops and restaurant on walking distance (around 500 meters), 4 more restaurants within 2 kms from the property.

Monterosi is situated 30 km above Rome and 5 km northeast of the lake of Bracciano. A holiday in Monterosi is recommended for those who want to visit Rome but would like to stay in the countryside not too far from Rome, and those who want to take advantage of the nearby lake of Bracciano with the charming little town of Trevignano, which reminds you of places by Lake Garda, and also want to visit lots of historic places like Ostia Antica to the west of Rome, Viterbo, Tuscania, Bracciano, Tarquinia and Cerveteri. Both of the last two towns are mainly known for the Etruscan tombs and the museums with finds from the graves. Then there are various smaller places like Sutri and Calgata, situated in a panoramic tuff stone valley. If you want go to the centre of Rome with public transport, about 500 meters from the house, you can take the bus which brings you (in approximately 35 minutes) to "Saxa Rubra", there is a bus every 30/40 minutes. From Saxa Rubra, with the underground railway, you can reach the several areas of Rome. Both airports of Rome are around 60 Kms far away. The golf field "Le Querce" (18 holes) is only few kms away from the holiday homes. The sand beach at the Bracciano lake is 15 Kms far away, the closest sand beach at sea is 55 Kms far away.

The journey from Ciampino and Fiumicino airport is approximately 1 hour with a rental car. To arrive by public transportation:

Ciampino: take the Terravision bus-service to  reach the Termini station . You can also take the bus-service Schiaffini to reach in a few minutes the Anagnina station, here you can take the underground to Termini. At Termini station take the metro direction Battisitini, get off at Flaminio and take the train to Viterbo and get off at Saxa Rubra. Here you can take a taxi or the bus for Monterosi. The bus stop is around 800 meters from the holiday homes.

Fiumicino: at the airport take the train to Roma Termini. At Termini station take the underground direction Battisitini, get off at Flaminio and take the train to Viterbo and get off at Saxa Rubra. Here you can take a taxi or the bus to Monterosi.
