Vico is a residence of new construction drawn from an ancient villa and is
perfectly integrated in the surrounding nature. It has 8 apartments, all
independent, each with an own entry and a lovely private garden and with an
own outdoor area to have lunch and where you contemporarily can enjoy the
splendid panorama on the Lake of Vico. The apartments are completely
equipped and elegantly furnished with a fireplace and furniture of epoch.
Vico is situated in the natural reserve around the Lake of Vico. It is also
an ideal point of departure to visit Rome. The bus stop is 100 meters away
from the structure; the bus directly brings you in 40 minutes to the
station of Saxa Rubra (endowed with ample parking lot; the
clients can also reach the metro halt with their own car).
From Saxa Rubra,
with the underground railway, you can reach the several areas of Rome.. A stay in this
structure is also ideal for excursions to discover the ancient cities of the
Etruria and the Tuscia. On 3 km Caprarola and the Farnese Palace of the XVI
sec., one of the more beautiful Renaissance monuments of Italy. Viterbo (20
kms) with its intact medieval centre, churches and numerous museums. Viterbo
is also famous for the thermal sources (2 equipped thermal centres and
numerous free sources, in which it is possible to have a bath). Other places
that deserve to be visited are Villa Lante, Bagnaia and Tarquinia. Tarquinia
is rich in etruscan graves and whose finds are preserved in the Tarquinia
Archaeological Museum.
On the lake of Vico motorboats are not admitted. But swimming, sailing and
surfing are possible. It is also possible to enjoy organized horse trips
around the lake.
