The property lies in southern Umbria (not far from the border with Lazio and 100 Kms northern of Rome), in an area rich in nature and tourist attractions. It is the ideal place in which to spend a quiet and pleasant holiday. The property has been accurately renovated maintaining the original characteristics and is immersed in the trees. The main house has 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, kitchen, dining and living room. There is also a cottage with bedroom and bathroom on 20 meters from the house (only rented together with the main house). The property is suitable for up to 10 persons. It is surrounded by a large private garden. The pool (10x5 meter) has been builded recently and is equipped with romain stairs and shower. There are also a little gym area and a jacuzzi at disposition of the guests. The whole property is for private use of the tenant. Shops are available in Castel dell'Aquila (4 Kms far away) and Amelia (15 Kms far away). Restaurant and 2 grocery stores available in the village of Sambucetole (5,5 Km far away).

SOUTHERN/CENTRE UMBRIA

In Umbria, a region that has gained a name for being the green heart of Italy, tourism is growing because of the unfamiliar harmony between nature, antiquities, historic centres and culture. The quiet of the countryside, good provisions and an inimitable cuisine are the great draw. This region is less touristy than Tuscany and this is especially appreciated by many tourists.

Southern/centre Umbria forms an ideal starting point for enjoying the peace of the surrounding hilly and mountainous landscape and on the other hand making trips to beautifull towns like Todi, Orvieto, Narni, Spoleto, Perugia, Gubbio, Assisi. There are also numerous charming little villages – many of medieval origin - as Amelia, Labro, Spello, Norcia, Bevagna, Montefalco to visit. In many towns and villages you can taste local dishes or buy local wines and olive oil (generally of excellent quality). You can also easily visit – in day trips - famous towns and charming villages in the southern part of Tuscany such as Siena, Arezzo, San Giminiano, Pienza, Cortona, Sinalunga, etc. Many tourists visit also Rome from here (without staying in the city which is very hot in summer) once or more times. It is possible to go by car (journey of 1h-1h30) or by train from the stations of: Terni, Narni-Amelia, Orte & Orvieto.
